Children Under the Age of 16

The Digital Assets are not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 may provide any information through the Digital Assets. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information through the Digital Assets. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Single Sign-On

You can log in to our Digital Assets using sign-in services such as Facebook Connect or an Open ID provider. These services will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us, such as your name and email address, to pre-populate our sign-up form. Services like Facebook Connect give you the option to post information about your activities on a Website to your profile page to share with others within your network. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH FACEBOOK OR ANY OTHER THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE IS GOVERNED SOLELY BY YOUR AGREEMENT WITH SUCH THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE.

Information We Collect About You and How We Collect It

We collect several types of information from and about users of the Digital Assets, including information:

By which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, email address, telephone number, and any other identifier by which you may be contacted online or offline (“personal information”);
That is about you but individually does not identify you.
About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access the Digital Assets, and usage details.

Directly from you when you provide it to us.
Automatically as you navigate through a Website or interact with the Advertisements. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, and information collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.

Information you provide by filling in forms on a Digital Asset. We may also ask you for information when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored or administered by us, and when you report a problem with a Digital Asset.

Your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.

Information We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies

As you navigate through and interact with a Digital Asset, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

Details of your visits to a Website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on a Website and when you interact with the Advertisements.
Information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system, and browser type.
Use of anonymous, unique identifiers.

It helps us to improve the Digital Assets and to deliver a better and more personalized service, including by enabling us to:

Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize the Digital Assets according to your individual interests.
Recognize you when you return to a Digital Asset.
To coordinate advertising and reporting across devices and browsers.

Cookies (or “browser cookies”). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to a Website or Advertisements.
Web Beacons. Pages of a Website and our Advertisements and emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain content and verifying system and server integrity).
Location Information. The App collects real-time information about the location of your device.

Some Advertisements are served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use a Website or interact with Advertisements. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to opt out of having your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) on the NAI’s website. Notify you when App updates are available, and of changes to any products or services we offer or provide through it.

To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
To notify you about changes to a Website or any products or services we offer or provide through it.
In any other way, we may describe when you provide the information.
For any other purpose with your consent.

We may use the information we have collected from you to display Advertisements to our advertisers’ target audiences. Even though we do not disclose your personal information for these purposes without your consent, if you click on or otherwise interact with an Advertisement, the advertiser may assume you meet its target criteria.

Disclosure of Your Information

We may disclose aggregated information about our users, and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.

We may disclose personal information we collect or that you provide as described in this privacy policy:

Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your web browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site and the Advertising may then be inaccessible or not function properly.
Promotional Offers from the Company. Privacy Rights Under State Laws

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Jurassic does not disclose your personal information to third parties for direct marketing purposes, but if you have any questions about this, email us at privacy@jurassicjobs.com.

You may also have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA).

Do Not Track

Do Not Track is a privacy preference that users can set in some web browsers. When a user turns on the Do Not Track signal, the browser sends a message to websites requesting them not to track the user. Jurassic does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser settings or signals. In addition, we deploy cookies, web beacons, and other technologies on our Digital Assets. These tools may therefore be used by us to collect information about you and your online activity, even if you have turned on the Do Not Track signal.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through a Digital Asset. Any transmission of personal information is therefore at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

It is our policy to post any changes we make to our privacy policy on this page. If we make material changes to how we handle personal information, we will notify you through a notice on the Website home page. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the bottom of this page. You are responsible for ensuring we have a functioning email address for you, and for periodically visiting this privacy policy to check for any changes.
